Dinaledi Educational Coaching (DEC) was established as a Section 21 company in 2007 by a group of coaches and educators who believe that through educational coaching under-achieving schools can become functional and good schools can became great schools.
From the outset DEC joined forces with the Dept of Education to launch interventions in selected schools, primarily Dinaledi schools which were situated in needy, disadvantaged areas. Simultaneously, we began working in other schools who recognized the strategic and capacity-building value of coaching.
Research conducted on these schools show positive change in the following areas: personal growth, goal-setting, learners more self-directed, improved academic results, positive mind-set, new ways of thinking, accountability, overall enhanced performance.
